Getting a visa for Russia

Possibly one of the hardest countries to get into ever? I think so. Having to wait nearly eight weeks for the invitation to come through. Then gathering all of the other items I needed; passport photos, application form, hiv certificate, invitation, and taking them all to the visa application centre in London, where the first time I went, I was sent on my way for not having the covering letter.

Russian lady with blank stare:
“You need covering letter”

Second time I went the lady actually smiled at me. Then on Friday I went back to collect my passport and it was done!

Visa

Couldn’t quite believe it but was very exciting. Flying at 21:40 Tuesday night..eeeeek 🙂
