It’s my last weekend in Alajuela, so the family I am staying with have taken me to their beach house. It’s in a town called Jacó on the Pacific Ocean side.
crocodiles rio tarcolesOn the way there we stopped at a bridge to see the crocodiles. I didn’t really believe them when they said crocodiles. But there they were, sunbathing in the Rio Tarcoles underneath the bridge.
crocodiles rio tarcolesNext we went to the beach, which had quite dark sand and big waves. Nice if you like surfing I suppose!
playa jacoThat evening they took me to the hotel pool for a swim.
40We went for a walk around the town, past lots of souvenir shops all selling hammocks. I really want to take a hammock home. I keep wondering where my dad will hang it when I get home…
