La Universidad de la Habana

havana university

I found the Uni. It was only about a five minute walk from my hotel. It looks much more exciting than Bournemouth and it has four massive buildings with pillars around a courtyard. Today we did a test to see what level we’re at. We find out tomorrow when we start at 9am. And that doesn’t mean 9.30, he said!

After the test we had to fill out a form to change our tourist visa into a student visa which you need to study. We then had to go on hunt for a list of things we need to change the visa, such as stamps to the value of 40CUC (£37) from the bank with the longest queue in the world, and 2 passport photos, which cost only 1,30CUC (£0.90). I might get some more photos done before I leave it was a bargain!
